What we collect
Only what you choose to send us:
- Contact and partnership forms: your name, email, company (if you add one) and your message.
- Job applications: the role, your name, phone number, email and the experience you describe.
- The chat assistant: the messages you type, and any service, timeframe and contact details you give. Messages are saved as the conversation happens, even if you don't finish booking.
- Alongside each of these: which page of the site you sent it from, and for chats, your browser and device type.
We don't use tracking or advertising cookies, and we don't run analytics on visitors.
How we use it
- To reply to you, quote and schedule work, and follow up on a job
- To review job applications and partnership inquiries
- To keep basic records of the work we've discussed with you
We never sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who helps us run the site
A few services handle your information on our behalf, only to make the site work:
- Netlify hosts the website
- Supabase stores what you send through the forms and chat
- Resend emails us a notification when you send something
- Google provides our business email inbox and the site's fonts
- jsDelivr delivers a piece of the site's code
Like any website, these services can see technical details such as your IP address when your browser connects to them.
How long we keep it
We keep your messages and details for as long as we need them to respond, do the work and keep reasonable business records. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
Your choices
You can ask what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call (201) 675-7548 or email handymanserviceshq@gmail.com, and we'll confirm once it's done.
Keeping it safe
Access to what you send is limited to us. The website itself can only add new submissions — it can't read back what anyone else has sent. No online system is perfectly secure, so please don't send payment details, passwords or other sensitive information through the site.
Children
This site is for people arranging home repair work or applying for jobs. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
"Do Not Track"
We don't track visitors across other websites, so browser "Do Not Track" settings don't change anything here.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
